Who is a God like You, Pardoning iniquity And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage?
He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy.
He will again have compassion on us, And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins Into the depths of the sea.
Micah 7:18-19
Today let's remember that our lives are not defined by our mistakes and failures. Our mistakes are not who we are! We don't have to carry our sins around. We don't have to pay for them. We simply need to confess our sins to Jesus and they are completely gone. By carrying around guilt, we are taking the sacrifice that Jesus made for us lightly. So from now on, let's put weight on Jesus' sacrifice instead of our own shortcomings. He did everything that would ever need to be done so we could have rightstanding with God. All we have to do is simply believe it!

I love this "Our mistakes are not who we are! We don't have to carry our sins around. We don't have to pay for them." So often we allow mistakes to define who we are. Praise the Lord he sees Jesus in us, not our mistakes. Happy WFW!

Please feel free to stop by: Trailing After God
My post was on a similar note today! I am constantly having to tell Satan to BACK OFF and remind him (and myself) that I'm washed in the blood of Jesus.
